Support: Online chat or telephone service for urgent support in a crisis.
JOB TITLE: Receptionist



LOCATION: Cognizant, London



REPORTING TO: Dual Services Supervisor



SHIFT PATTERN: Mon-Fri 08:00 to 17:00, 45 HOURS PER WEEK



PAY RATE: £14.77 per hour



Main Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Answering all incoming calls (internal/external)
  • Meeting and greeting all incoming visitors
  • Entering work requests and visitors into the building system
  • Booking of couriers/taking delivery of couriered items
  • Assisting with booking of meeting rooms
  • Assisting with updating of staff details on intranet
  • Booking in print jobs for collection and delivery as required
  • Cross trained in team duties such to assist with security and cleaning functions
  • Logging of calls into Call Logging system
  • Reporting of any IT issues to IT Service Desk
  • Working with Colliers our building management provider to manage and log calls with the helpdesk
  • Any other duties as required



Person Specification:


  • Extensive Corporate Reception and Switchboard experience within blue-chip company
  • Previous experience within an office environment beneficial
  • Minimum 5 GCSE's or equivalent
  • Excellent customer relations and good communications skills
  • Experience in use of Switchboard
  • Fully computer literate
  • Experience of working with a building management IT system would be advantageous
  • Happy to wear a corporate uniform
  • High standard of professional grooming
