What might it look like to work here?
Stand by, we'll show you...
This is a Hybrid role from our Cardiff Office, working three days from the office, two from home.
What You'll Be Doing...
As a Junior User Researcher, your role is pivotal in understanding who our customers are. You get to uncover how they interact with and experience our products. Using a range of methodologies, you ensure we're always up-to-date about our customers' needs and struggles. Your expertise involves actively listening to customers' feedback and solving any problems that come our way. The work you do not only contributes to the continuous improvement of our website but also plays a crucial role in discovering and developing new customer features and products.
We work in cross-functional teams that are focused on opportunities and are empowered to make decisions, choosing the best solutions to the challenges at hand. You'll be a key player in the team, sharing your insights and taking away areas for investigation.
We aim to excel in the market by developing innovative solutions to improve our customers' lives and stay ahead in an ever-changing industry. We are looking for people with a customer-centric approach, passionate about collaborative ways of working, and eager to bring fresh perspectives that constructively challenge traditional thinking.
Experience That Will Put You Ahead Of The Curve...
- You can talk passionately about the different types of tools and techniques you have used to gather customer insights. This may include standard web analytics or other innovative tools that gather live feedback. You know which research methodologies to use depending on research objectives and business constraints
- You have the skill to tell the story based on your research findings, conveying what you've learned from customers. You confidently communicate that throughout the business, taking feedback on board and making it an integral part of the process
- You're creative about gathering insights and collaborating with teams across the business to continually establish new customer feedback touchpoints. You build great relationships, especially with customer service colleagues, recognising the value of their connection to customers.
- Your eCommerce experience, paired with working with product and design teams, fuels your passion for UX. You've witnessed firsthand how small tweaks to the design of a feature can impact customer use. Your primary focus is helping designers to understand feature usage and refining them for optimal performance.
What's In It For You...
We have a number of awesome perks available to our staff. We offer huge opportunities to learn and develop, whether through professional qualifications, exposure to incredible business projects or informal lunch & learns, hosted by your colleagues. We have a fantastic culture where we really do care about our people and want everyone to succeed. Varied roles mean you're not pigeonholed in to one finite area but get the opportunity to develop a wide range of skills and experience
And to top it all off, not only do we offer unlimited holiday because we trust you to manage your workload and time but we also offer a share in our success whereby every colleague is eligible to join our profit pool bonus scheme - if Future hits their performance targets all colleagues may receive a bonus.
