Staff Nurse - Day Case inWirral inWirral PUBLISHED 1 JUN 2024

We are looking for enthusiastic, forward thinking, professional and friendly staff nurses to join the team within the Medical Day Case Unit based in Arrowe Park Hospital.

This post initially is day time working 8am-4pm, with future expansion to 8am-8pm Monday - Friday.

Following the relocation of the Medical Day Case Unit to a brand new facility following the recent restructure in the services, this enables many of our patients to attend as planned day cases and return home the same day.

The Medical Day Case Unit works in conjunction with many of the specialities teams with the recent addition of Cardiac, Heart Failure, Frailty and Gastroenterology Ambulatory services to promote admission avoidance and deliver safe planned care.

The Unit also offers recovery for Interventional Radiology patients to ensure that they can undergo specialised investigation and be discharged home the same day following a short recovery period.

All new colleagues can expect to receive a warm and friendly Wirral welcome from the very first time they make contact with us. We are described as “competent and caring staff” by our patients.
