We are looking for a compassionate, highly skilled and motivated Consultant Psychologist to work within the CYP ADHD & ASD multidisciplinary team. You have junior colleagues whom you will supervise and professionally lead. You will work closely with other senior colleagues to form part of the overall leadership of the team. While the team has a specialist remit, presentations have become more complex, so a broad range of experience would ideally place you to manage this job and specialist aspect of the role can be developed within the team if necessary.

You will also join a team of Consultant Psychologists working within Children’s services, and as such have robust ‘peer support’. This team meet at least once a week. Moreover, you will be supervised and professionally managed by an experience Consultant Psychologist/ Consultant Systemic Therapist, who is the Clinical director for Children’s services.

We recognise that the NHS context is challenging, but you very much would be joining a dedicated multidisciplinary team who are passionate about Children & Young peoples ADHD & ASD services. We strive to have close working relationships with operational colleagues so in your role we envisage you having a very close relationship with the relevant service manager.
