Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board is part of the NHS Wales family.
The Medicine Clinical Service Group are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and suitably qualified Medical Secretary to support the Nephrology service.
The post holder will be required to work on their own initiative and demonstrate excellent typing, flexibility, communication and organisational skills. The post holder must be ICT literate and familiar with NHS information systems such as WPAS (Myrddin).
This role will be based across two sites: Royal Glamorgan Hospital & Ysbyty Cwm Rhondda.
The main purpose of this role will be to provide excellent secretarial support such as digital audio typing, mail and filing duties, managing patient pathways and liaising with patients, relatives/carers and external partners daily.
An excellent understanding of the Principles of Referral to Treatment is also required and an empathetic approach to customer care, therefore an excellent telephone manner will need to be demonstrated.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
