You will form part of a team which delivers a health and safety consultancy service, attend meetings, visit sites, create reports, organise data and work with other consultants to complete projects to meet KPIs.

We are one of the UK's largest and most diverse multidisciplinary consultancies in the design, management, infrastructure, real estate, civil engineering, environmental management and transport sectors.

WSP Real Estate & Infrastructure have over 700 staff based in UK & Ireland offices offering a vast range of professional and technical expertise. The breadth and depth of our experience ensures that we are able to add value to any project, regardless of size, complexity or sector.


Responsibilities


You will be part of a small team of H&S professionals providing Health &; Safety consultancy services to clients nationwide.

Your duties will include:
  • Provision of H&S consultancy in the Built Environment;
  • Provision of competent health and safety advice;
  • Writing and reviewing policies and procedures;
  • Undertaking H&S audits & Fire Risk Assessments in the built environment;
  • Reviewing / producing risk assessments;
  • Auditing safety management systems;
  • Undertaking adhocinspections;
  • Investigating incidents;
  • Design and deliver training;
  • Monitoring online H&S systems;
  • Meeting clients;
  • Managing client accounts
  • Commercial development
You will be supported by your team and the Associate Director accountable for the service throughout this process and we will encourage your own professional development as you grow with us.

As part of your H&S duties you will also maintain Continuing Professional Development (CPD), provide input at consultancy team meetings and carry out other H&S work as directed by the H&S Consultant team Leader.

You will become a multi-talented consultant who is able provide a complete service for our client.

Qualifications


We are looking for someone with the right attitude and interest above all else. You must demonstrate this with your application, through your personal development and recent experiences including your ability to provide H&S competent advice.
  • NEBOSH Diploma / equivalent
  • TechIOSHor ideally grad IOSH
  • Good health and safety experience in the built environment
  • Fire Safety management experience.
  • Ability to drive and travel throughout the UK. There may also be possible abroadtravel
  • Is a Team player but also able to work alone
