An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 3 Rehabilitation Assistant to work as part of The Community Respiratory Team.

The successful candidate will be based at Wythenshawe Hospital and work across sites and within the Community.

We are looking for a professional, enthusiastic and compassionate individual committed to the delivery of high quality care.

You will assist the running of our Pulmonary Rehabilitation Classes under the supervision of Respiratory Nurses and Physiotherapist.

You will work as an inter-disciplinary practitioner supporting the role of all members of the team to ensure high quality patient-focused care to out-patients and community patients as required. You will assist in the treatment of pulmonary rehabilitation for patients who have a chronic respiratory condition.

This is a part time permanent post (15hours a week over 5 days)

To undertake delegated treatment sessions and clinical tasks through indirect supervision by professionally qualified staff to assist in the delivery of high-quality patient-focused care.

To work as an inter-disciplinary practitioner supporting the role of registered Nurses and Physiotherapists.

To provide administrative support to the registered practitioners to help ensure the efficient and effective running of the department.

The post holder will be based at Wythenshawe Hospital, however there will be some requirement to visit patients in the community and attend classes.

The role will involve supporting all age groups.
