You are either already on the Specialist Register or within six months of your Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) at the time of the interview.A collaborative team player who values a supportive work environment and excellence in patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
You will contribute to a department that handles 16,500 histology and 1,100 non-gynaecological specimens annually, along with performing 250 post-mortems.
Our department operates with a focus on subspecialist reporting, while non-specialist cases are shared among the team.Workload is carefully managed through the Royal College workload scoring system, ensuring a balanced and safe environment.As a valued member of our team, you'll benefit from daily case discussions and a collaborative approach to complex cases.Opportunities for specialisation and career development will be discussed.
Teaching & Training:
You will have the opportunity to mentor one Specialty Trainee, fostering the next generation of experts.
Post-Mortem Opportunities:
Autopsies are performed for HM Coroner and as part of consent procedures. However, we also welcome applications from candidates who prefer not to perform post-mortems.
