As a key member of our team, you will be working 22.5 hours per week within the Community Mental Health Team. Your responsibilities will include supervising and managing staff, while providing your expert knowledge to a broader multidisciplinary community mental health team.

  • You will work as a valued member of the Slough Mental Health Team, as well as the trust Psychological Therapies wider team, and you will provide a highly specialist psychological service to users presenting with severe/complex mental health difficulties requiring multiple interventions, complex/intensive risk management plans and high levels of multiagency work.
  • You will initiate, lead, supervise, and contribute to the multidisciplinary teams within the locality and wider Trust services.
  • You will contribute to the Trust’s Community Mental Health Transformation initiative aimed at bridging the gap between primary and secondary care, which includes working closely with GPs and primary care colleagues.
  • You will be reliable and knowledgeable, and you will have great IT skills and be familiar with various systems and software packages.
  • You will need access to your own car and be able to travel independently across Berkshire.
