An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic individual to join the Leadership team on Creedy ward. This area has been awarded as 'Outstanding' by the CQC and prides itself on giving excellent patient care.

The successful candidate will work alongside the other members of the Leadership team with the running of the acute ward, which is also a tertiary referral centre.

Creedy is a 26 bedded inpatient area which also has an additional bay with space to facilitate three dialysis patients. We work closely with surrounding hospitals, including their Intensive Care Units taking referrals 24 hours a day.

We have capacity to provide both acute Haemodialysis and Peritoneal Dialysis 24 hours a day and are proud to be evolving our Plasma Exchange service, which in turn will broaden our patient group.

We are proud to be a ward that has it's own Clinical Practice Facilitator to ensure that all staff have the best opportunities for learning and progression.

If you are passionate and enthusiastic with at least 3 years experience in Renal Medicine and competent in both Haemodialysis and Peritoneal Dialysis then this could be the job for you.


Working Pattern:
34.5 hours per week. This post will include long days, nights, weekends, Bank Holidays.

Pay:
The salary advertised for this position reflects the Agenda for Change 2024-5 rates, inclusive of a 5.5% pay award implemented from October 2024. If you join before this date, the pay award will be backdated to April 2024 or your start date, whichever is later. Until then, remuneration will be based on the 2023-4 pay bandings (Pay scales for 2023/24 | NHS Employers).
