We are excited to announce that we have a superb opportunity to join Cumming Europe Ltd, as part of Cumming Group, in the role of Receptionist in our London Office.


We are seeking to recruit a Receptionist to provide front of house support, with additional overflow of admin support required from time to time supporting the team in our office based close to London Bridge. We are seeking someone who has had previous experience in a similar role, has plenty of enthusiasm, initiative and all-round integrity and is used to working for a large and busy team.


Expectation for this role is is fully office based - no hybrid working arrangements.



The role of a Receptionist includes the following responsibilities:

  • Working on the reception desk, front of house and providing hospitality assistance across the office.
  • Greeting all guests and notifying staff when their guests arrive.
  • Providing drinks for waiting guests in reception area.
  • Answering and directing incoming calls and taking any messages.
  • Organising meetings and coordinating all meeting rooms in the office.
  • Ensuring meeting rooms are always kept clean and tidy.
  • Ensuring reception area space/coffee station is always kept clean and tidy, and well stocked in accordance with requirements.
  • Arranging and coordinating all client lunch orders and preparing all lunch set ups for required meetings.
  • Arranging and coordinating all meeting room refreshments as needed/required.
  • Arranging and coordinating the setup/tidy up of staff breakfast (3 times per week).
  • Arranging and coordinating the setup of staff knowledge share lunches (1-2 per month).
  • Assisting with the booking of any travel and accommodation arrangements for staff.
  • Dealing with incoming and outgoing post.
  • Maintaining stationery and office/kitchen supplies on all floors.
  • Placing and recording purchases for all office consumables.
  • Organising/ordering couriers as and when necessary.

  • Be flexible & adaptable.
  • Work as part of a small team and cover for others when necessary.
  • Be highly organised and well managed.



Qualifications & Skills:

  • 1+ years experience gained in similar role as receptionist/hospitality assistant preferred, although does not have to be within the building sector.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft products (Outlook/Excel/Word used daily).
  • Enthusiastic, with an attentive attitude and all-round integrity.
  • Efficient at time keeping.
