An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and highly organised Band 3 Team Administrator (37.5 hours, Mon-Fri, full-time ). The successful candidate will join a supportive and innovative team, the Perinatal Trauma & Loss Service (PETALS) which will provide care and support to women who are experiencing emotional trauma associated with their maternity experience. This service will support the families through their patient journey, offering support, advice and midwifery expertise along the way. This requires collaborative working with wider healthcare and voluntary services, to ensure the delivery of an integrated pathway of care.

The successful applicant will have excellent communication and organisational skills and have a broad range of administration experience, being able to work with intuitive and sometimes under pressure.

The post-holder will work as part of a dynamic team supporting clinicians and team managers in the smooth running of the the Perinatal Trauma & Loss Service (PETALS) providing administrative support to the clinical team in relation to clinical correspondence and bookings. The successful applicant will co-ordinate and facilitate the dissemination of information to and from the team and be required to deal efficiently, precisely, and courteously with telephone calls from service users as well as health care professionals.

The successful applicant will act as first contact to service users for the service as well play a key part in the referral process by logging and maintaining records of referrals and discharges for statistical purposes onto the Trusts Paris system in an accurate and timely manner.
