Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and assistance to individuals in need of care and assistance
  • Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
  • Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
  • Help with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and tidying up
  • Accompany clients to medical appointments or social outings
  • Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals

Skills:

  • Experience in assisted living or patient care settings
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Knowledge of dementia care techniques and strategies
  • Ability to provide compassionate and empathetic care
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to the needs of clients
  • Physical stamina for heavy lifting and assisting with mobility

Expected hours: 12 - 60 per week
