- Literate and numerate with a good level of education to GCSE-level (or equivalent)
- Prepared to undertake further training/ qualification relevant to the role.
- Proven office and customer service experience in pervious employment
- Previous experience in a clinical setting

What are the Responsibilities of this
Front of House Team Leader role?
- To provide day to day supervision, leadership and support to administrative staff members
- To support the supervisor in proactively managing staff rotas, annual leave and flexi time to ensure adequate cover for effective service delivery, escalating any issues that cannot be resolved to the appropriate senior colleagues.
- Liaise with the other team leaders to ensure all areas are covered during busy periods and staff breaks.
- Review services provisions for the following day and escalate any potential issues to the supervisor.
- To support supervisor for ensure administrative staff members have completed and remain compliant with all essential training required of you by the Hospital and accurate training records are maintained.
- To support the supervisor in monitoring staff performance and compliance against standard operating procedures and agreed ways of working, addressing any issue of non-compliance with individuals
- Support staff in trouble shooting issues and complaints
- Be accountable for own standards of work in accordance with departmental policies and procedures, and take every opportunity to sustain and improve knowledge and skills.
- Take personal responsibility for promoting a safe environment and safe patient care by identifying areas of risk and following the Incident reporting policy and procedure.

The Team Leaders will play an integral part in the delivery of outpatient services by providing support and leadership to the Front of House administration team.
In collaboration with the Front of House supervisor, the Team Leaders will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision Front of House administration team, and will ensure that the department delivers high standards of service in an efficient way and in line with Hospitals and Departmental standards.
As an organisation we would expect that all staff working on administration areas should always demonstrate a commitment to providing an excellent service that is sensitive, putting others before themselves with care and consideration.
The administration team is responsible for meeting the needs of anyone who walks through the main door. Services are provided to both outpatients and inpatients, guests of those patients or of the staff, and various contractors that work within the hospital.
