This is a permanent band 6 role and the post offers full time or part time hours. Leadership experience is an an advantage
The world’s population is ageing and we are all familiar with the challenges of meeting the needs of the growing number of older people here at University Hospitals of Derby and Burton and we all work tirelessly to ensure the right care and support services are in place when older people need them.

Thus, our vision for our patients is they should live long and healthy lives, enjoying an active, fulfilling and independent existence– in which the ageing process becomes a positive rather than a negative experience.
Requirements
- NMC Registered Nurse
- You will have evidence of relevant on-going professional development
- Leadership skills
- Able to assess risks and take appropriate action to manage identified risks
- Able to work as part of a team, and take responsibility and management of the area.
