* Lead in the operational and clinical management of the Service, providing day to day management, leadership and line management to staff including non-clinical staff* Undertake specialist assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care for individuals with a Learning Disability within an in-patient setting* Demonstrate enhanced competence in complex decision making, assessment and the management of clinical needs* Collect and collate data / information effectively for the purpose of audit, research and service performance.* Mentor, supervise and teach qualified and unqualified staff including students* Work in partnership with service users, carers and other agencies to ensure effectiveness ofoutcomes

My name is Moses and I am the Matron for Berkeley House, LDISS and IHOT at Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust and I am looking to appoint a Unit Manager into my team.

We are looking for you to be able to demonstrate the leadership skills needed to manage a large multidisciplinary team and appropriate clinical experience to provide clinical leadership.

You will need to be a qualified experienced Learning Disability or Mental Health Nurse with drive and ambition.

We are particularly keen to receive applications from candidates who can demonstrate positive learning from the past and who can transform and nurture care and work cultures.
