We are looking to cover a minimum of 12 hours of nursing time, and Practice Nurse experience is essential.

The post holder must work as part ofa team, have the ability to organise and prioritise their own workload on a dayto day basis, and observe strict rules about confidentiality at all times.
They must have previous experience ofworking in primary care. You will be required to undertake full treatment roomduties, including immunisations, dressings, removal of sutures, cervical smeartaking and anti-coagulation. Experience in additional areas including long term conditions (e.g. diabetes, asthma, COPD), travelimmunisations and family planning are desirable.
Working strictly in accordance withspecific practice or national guidelines, the Practice Nurse will assist thepractice clinical team in the provision and delivery of prescribed programmesof patient care.
The post holder must maintainregistration with NMC, maintaining its Code of Conduct to protect the publicthrough professional standards. Fulfil its learning requirements.

Currently, our multi-disciplinaryclinical team is made up of 4 Partners (3 GP and a Clinical Pharmacist), 4salaried GPs, 1 Paramedic Practitioner, 1 ANP, 2 highly experienced PracticeNurses, an HCA, Clinical Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians and a GPA. All aresupported by a dedicated admin team. In addition we do minor surgery andcontraception services, and have the benefit of visiting specialists who runophthalmology and ENT clinics out of our surgery.
