Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Full GMC Registration Licence to Practice
- MBBS or equivalent.
Desirable criteria
- Post graduate Qualification in Anaesthesia/ED/Medicine
- Hold ALS / ATLS certification or equivalent
Experience
Essential criteria
- Have a minimum 3 years post foundation Training experience in Anaesthesia/ICM/ Medicine/Emergency medicine with Mandatory 6 months of ICM experience
- Competent in independent airway Management.
- Independent in insertion of Central Venous Catheters, Arterial Lines and perform Intubations.
- Independently manage acutely unwell patients in critical care and provide Various organ supports
Desirable criteria
- Evidence of commitment to Clinical audit.
- Experience in use of Ultrasound for central line insertion and perform ECHO in critical care.
- Involvement in service improvement projects
Research and Development

- Evidence of interest in personal development
