Our Client, a Luxury Hotel are looking for an experienced and talented Hotel Receptionist to join their fantastic venue. As Receptionist, you will be the first and last point of contact for our guests, ensuring a smooth check in/out process for all. Ensure the Front Office Manager is kept fully aware of any relevant feedback from guests and other departments. Maximise room occupancy and use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities. Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation.

The Role:

As Hotel Receptionist, your role will include:

  • Reporting to the General Manager and working closely with all departments in ensuring guests total satisfaction.
  • Responsibility for accuracy of data input into the company booking system and charging accounts as required.
  • Handling all guest enquiries and complaints in a professional manner and transferring calls accordingly.
  • Ensuring all cash, charges, float and till procedures are correct and in accordance with company policy.
  • Planning the shifts in relation to arrivals, departure of guests including room sales, room allocations, VIP'S

The Person:

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have 2 years experience in a similar role.
  • A great 'can-do' attitude and enjoy working as part of a team.
  • Availability to work shifts, including evenings and weekends as per business needs.
  • Ability to display a proactive approach to problem solving.
  • Have good organisational skills.
