Job Description could vary depending on the skills and qualifications of the individual but may include

• INR near patient testing/Dosing.
• Womens health and Cytology
• Wound care / ulcer care/Dopplers
• Routine immunizations
• Childhood immunisations
• Travel Clinic Immunisations
• Requesting pathology tests, for example urine culture, swabs
• Chronic disease management (including diabetic foot checks)
• Hypertension Management
• Respiratory Management / Spirometry
• Venepuncture
• Removal of Sutures / staples
• Chaperoning
• Following agreed clinical protocols with referral to senior nurse or GPs as appropriate
• ECGs

We have an exciting opportunity for a professional , friendly and enthusiastic part-time general registered nurse to join our team. Ideally with varied experience in a primary care setting.

Successful applicants are required to provide a standard disclosure barring service check. Employer will meet disclosure expense.

Work will vary depending on the skills and knowledge of the individual;

Typically our nurses undertake the following;

Cervical smears swabs and other womens health , Wound care, ulcer care, dopplers

Removal of sutures, travel imms, ECGs , Asthma/COPD management, Chronic disease management, diabetic feet checks, lifestyle advice, contraception reviews, Child and Adult immunisations, Venepuncture (10 years+) , Near patient testing (INR) . Chaer
