Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust has an exciting opportunity available for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join the North Cornwall CMHT. This post will initially be in the East of the county but will move into to the Mid area in the near future due to a change in area boundaries.
Our multidisciplinary team strives to deliver high quality and effective services to people experiencing severe and enduring mental health problems. We offer assessment and treatment of mental health problems, with a focus on effectiveness and recovery, working to promote the independence of our service users.
The team are looking for someone who can demonstrate the Trust's vision and values in practice, are motivated to be involved in innovation and service development and and are passionate about mental health. Ideally, you will havea core profession in Mental Health Nursing and experience working independently in a mental health setting.
As an ICMHT team member you must have both a positive outlook and sense of humour to accept the challenges of working in a busy locality that extends to seaside towns and rural locations.
You will need to have knowledge of general mental health problems, the impact this may have on service users and their treatment.
You will receive regular support and supervision from the Management and Leadership team.
