We are pleased to offer a range of Band 6 opportunities within Cardiff and Vale Occupational Therapy Service. We currently have static full and part vacancies . Opportunities are available in the medicine occupational therapy team with posts in the Right Bed First Time Team in UHW and Acute Teams in UHW and UHL.
Our team is friendly and supportive in medicine and also the wider occupational therapy service. The service is busy with opportunity to be proactive and deliver the Right Care at the Right Time in the Right Place.
The Medicine static posts further develop your leadership and management skills within a team. You will have opportunity to consolidate clinical skills, build experience and invest in quality improvement developments.
All Band 6 positions will be supported with induction/training and supervision. You will be supported in your development underpinned by the RCOT Pillars of Practice and Cardiff and Vale Occupational Therapy Strategy and Operational Plan 2024-2026. You will deliver occupationally focused practice, delivering outcomes that matter to people using evidence based practice and research.
Opportunities for development of supervisory skills will be available and engagement in service development/improvement projects and role promotion encouraged. A seven-day service is delivered in some services.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
