This is a temporary bank staff nurse role at Elysium Healthcare's Ty Gwyn Hall facility in Abergavenny, Wales. The role offers flexibility and control over the shifts worked, with no minimum hours requirement. As a bank nurse, you will provide high-quality, evidence-based support to service users in the care of Elysium Healthcare. You will work as part of the experienced multi-disciplinary team, supporting colleagues and putting the needs of service users first. The service operates 24/7 with 12.5 hour standard shifts, and as a bank nurse you will be on a zero-hour contract, giving you the freedom to choose the shifts you want to work.

As a Nurse on our Bank, there is no minimum number of hours you’ll be required to work, though it is recommended to work as often as you can to keep your knowledge and familiarity with the service at a good level.

Weekday, nights and weekend shifts are regularly available, which are easy to view and book through an app. Within a few taps you’ll have the nursing shifts secured that you want. There is the potential future option to work bank shifts regionally at other Elysium services across the area.

You will be working at Ty Gwyn Hall, a rehabilitation and recovery service for people who have been diagnosed with a range of mental health conditions.

Working as part of the experienced multi-disciplinary team, you will support service users through every stage of their recovery journey within the hospital’s five individual units.
