We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.

The shift pattern of this position is Mon-Sun, day & night shift rotation 11.5 hour shifts.

The Healthcare Support Worker carries out direct patient care in support of and supervised by a Registered Nurse. Applicants must have a caring disposition and the ability to work with others as part of a multidisciplinary team. Good verbal and written communication skills and literacy and numeracy skills are essential. Applicants must have the ability to fulfil the requirements of the Band 2 job description including undertaking practice development programmes.
