Job summary

We have two excellent opportunities at Moorfields Eye Hospital, South Division for two paediatric nurses to join our teams at our St Georges Hospital site and the Croydon University Hospital site.

The two Band 6 posts are part of our plan in providing a well lead paediatric service within the division. The two paediatric nurses will be leading on providing the quality nursing care for our paediatric outpatient clinics across both sites and also day surgery care at our St Georges Hospital site.

The post holders should have significant paediatric nursing experience in a health care setting including experience in the safeguarding children agenda as part of providing a holistic care.

We have one full time and one part-time post, however, we can be extremely flexible in working hours and working patterns as long as the service needs are met and job sharing will definitely be considered for the right candidates.

Main duties of the job

To work towards the development and delivery of high standards of patient care by using clearly defined care pathways.

Participate in safeguarding children and young people within the Trust and ensure that the Trust Safeguarding Policy is adhered to and that concerns are communicated to the senior members of the paediatric team and the safeguarding children team.
