About the Role:

As the Head Dental Nurse, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day management of clinical operations, overseeing staff, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership: Supervise and manage the dental nursing team, providing guidance, training, and support.

Clinical Compliance: Ensure all clinical procedures are performed to a high standard, adhering to CQC regulations and infection control protocols.

Patient Care: Work closely with the dental team to ensure that all patients receive excellent care and attention during their visit.

Chairside Assistance: Provide chairside support during various dental procedures.

Rota Management: Organize the work schedule for the dental nursing team.

Stock Control: Manage the ordering and stock levels of clinical supplies and materials.

Record Management: Maintain accurate patient records using R4 software and ensure smooth administrative workflows.

Required Skills & Experience:

R4 software knowledge is essential.

Previous experience as a Head Dental Nurse is highly desirable.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent organizational abilities, with a focus on detail and efficiency.

In-depth understanding of CQC and infection control standards.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with patients and staff effectively.
