Job Overview


We are seeking a dedicated, innovative, and highly organised individual to join our growing and experienced team as our Dietetic Assistant (22.5 hours per week). The post holder will be based at Frimley Park Hospital within the Nutrition and Dietetics department.

You will be assisting the Admin team as well as working under dietetic supervision, providing patients on fortified and special diets with appropriate menus and supplementary drinks, liaising as required, with ward staff and the catering department.

Main duties of the job

Administrative responsibilities will include general office administration and checking patient menus, retrieving patient information prior to clinics, stock checking and handling of enteral feeding supplies and computer analysis of patient intakes.

You will develop a good understanding of therapeutic diets and catering systems. You must have good communication skills and the ability to problem solve and use initiative to deal with varied queries. Good basic office and computer skills are required for this post as well as being able to work as a flexible and supportive team member.
