The NUH Regional Specialist Adult Cystic Fibrosis Service provides inpatient and outpatient care to patients across the East Midlands in a welcoming, caring, holistic and understanding environment. The multi-disciplinary team support and encourage patients to manage their treatment to achieve their optimum quality of life.
Clinical Psychologists or final year Trainee Clinical Psychologists with an interest in clinical health psychology are invited to apply for this B8a role in our well-established Clinical Psychology Adult Cystic Fibrosis Service. The role is 0.6wte. The postholder will work alongside an experienced Band 8b Clinical Psychologist and an Assistant Psychologist in the Adult Medical Clinical Psychology team.
You may have experience of working with physical health problems with either children/families or adults, or experience of working in child and adolescent or adult mental health services with a keen interest to apply that knowledge to work in an acute trust.

In this role, the postholder will be able to use a full range of clinical psychology skills to make a significant difference to the lives of adults living with cystic fibrosis. The postholder will provide inpatient and outpatient psychological assessments and interventions to adults with Cystic Fibrosis, and psychological advice, supervision, consultancy and training to multi-disciplinary colleagues.
