We are looking for a highly motivated Health Care assistant to join us on our 24 bedded Medical Escalation Ward on ward A1. The successful applicant will be expected to work to our high standards of patient care and service delivery. We provide a comprehensive training package in a supporting and welcoming environment.

Our multidisciplinary team, deliver care for patients who are require support clinically and psychologically. The Healthcare Assistants are there to provide support to the Registered Nurses and carry out a range of personal care clinical duties, including bathing, oral hygiene, assist in maintaining patient nutritional/fluid balance status to ensuring delivery of high quality patient care at all times.

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, has excellent communication skills, aspires to delivering high quality care, works collaboratively with all members of the MDT, delivers patient-centered care with dignity and respect, and demonstrates a high level of compassion for all patients.

The post holder will provide support to the registered nurse in the delivery of patient care. and work collaboratively within our dedicated multi-disciplinary teams, assisting and promoting the patients independence.

You will be fully involved in an individual’s care from admission to discharge, assisting with patient hygiene and dressing, feeding, maintaining dignity and respect, keeping the environment clean and tidy and keeping good documentation.

Ward A1 also provides excellent training and development opportunities in a friendly and supportive environment.
