Building on our track record of delivering pioneering research we are recruiting for Healthcare Technicians to work on projects at EMS Healthcare on a fixed term basis.
Our projects are delivered in state-of-the-art Community Research Units across the UK. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in ground-breaking clinical trials and work across different locations carrying out clinical trial activities to ensure the successful recruitment and delivery of clinical trials.
Join our innovative team as a Health Care Technician and play a pivotal role in advancing research. You will work in a state-of-the-art mobile clinic that brings cutting-edge healthcare directly to the heart of the community. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking research while engaging with diverse populations in their own neighbourhoods.
You will be responsible for ensuring clinical and regulatory compliance, such as IMP Management, Sample Processing, Wast Disposal and Management, Training and Compliance, Emergency Response and Documentation and Reporting.
You will be part of the Clinical Operations Team at EMS Healthcare and work collaboratively with our other teams to ensure efficient delivery of clinical research projects.
Requirements
To be successful in this role you will need the following experience and skills:
- Training in Blood handling at category 2a and Dangerous Goods Shipping is preferred.
- Previous experience in clinical trial setting or clinical research environment is highly desirable.
- Experience with IMP management and sample processing is essential.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict protocols and SOP's.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Proficiency in documenting clinical and research activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Knowledge of GCP guidelines and experience working within a regulated environment.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with colleagues, participants, and regulatory personnel.
- Hold a full and clean drivers' licence
- Have the right to live and work in the UK.
