What Theyre Looking For
- Qualification: A relevant qualification in Education, Special Needs, Psychology, or a related field is preferred (e.g., NVQ, BTEC, or degree).
- Experience: Previous experience supporting adults or young people with challenging behaviours is essential, whether in a professional or personal capacity.
- Personal Care: Willingness to provide personal care assistance is required.
- Personal Experience: If you do not have formal experience, personal experience (e.g., supporting a family member) will be considered.
- Attitude: Passionate about raising the standard of teaching and learning, with a proactive and positive approach.
Ideal Candidate
- You might have a degree but limited professional experience, as long as you can demonstrate personal experience with special needs or challenging behaviours.
- You may have worked in care settings, special schools, or similar environments and are eager to grow your expertise.
