- The post holder will work as part of the Endoscopy team, ensuring an effective services provided within the Endoscopy Unit across the Trust.
- To assist with most of the Endsocopy procedure.
- To carry out assigned task involving direct care in support of and supervised by a qualified Nurse or othe health care professional.
- To provide a quality service to both inpatient and outpatient in an environment in which patients are treated as individuals with dignity and respect.
- Working in all Endoscopy Procedure rooms with support & training if required, including all aspects of role within the room.
- Assist in Recovery Rooms carrying out the enhanced Band 3 role.
- Be responsible in stocking up and cleaning Endoscopy equipment
- Undertaking Endoscopy list in all areas of the Hospital
- Moving to another area if the needs of the Trust requires this
- Working over allocated time if the patient is compromised and cannot be discharged or moved to another area.
