We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Aspiring Psychologist to join an outstanding Primary School in Enfield. This long-term role offers a unique chance to gain hands-on experience, work closely with children, and collaborate with experienced professionals.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group support to students, addressing emotional, social, and behavioral challenges.
- Assist in the development and implementation of personalized intervention plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to create a nurturing environment.
- Conduct assessments to identify students' needs and progress.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss and plan support strategies.
- Promote mental health awareness and positive well-being within the school community.
Requirements
- A degree in Psychology or a related field (or currently working towards one).
- A strong passion for working with children in an educational setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Previous experience in a school or child-focused environment is desirable.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
