with a passion for supporting children's emotional and mental well-being? We are offering an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated SEND school in
Greenwich
. This long-term role will provide invaluable experience working directly with students and alongside experienced professionals.
Responsibilities
- Offer emotional, social, and behavioural support to students.
- Assist in creating and implementing intervention plans.
- Work in collaboration with teachers, parents, and the wider school team.
- Conduct assessments to track progress and adapt support strategies accordingly.
- Promote mental health awareness across the school.
Requirements
- A degree in Psychology or a related field (or currently working towards one).
- Passion for supporting children in an educational setting.
- Strong communication and team-working skills.
- Previous experience in a school or child-centred environment is desirable but not required.
This role requires strong knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures, with an enhanced DBS on the update service.
