NHS GRAMPIAN – ABERDEENSHIRE H&SCP DENTAL SERVICES
NHS Grampian is looking to recruit a dedicated Dental Nurse for Urie Dental Practice, within Inverurie Health Hub, Inverurie Aberdeenshire to provide nursing support.
This fixed term 18 month post is for 30 hours per week 8.30am – 4.30pm Salary £29,116 - £31,670 pro rata. (AFC Band 4). Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday each week.
The post holder will be required to provide full chair side assistance to clinicians and decontamination duties it will be busy and challenging at times. There will also be a requirement for some reception duties to be undertaken.
Applicants should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work on their own initiative as well as part of a team should be motivated, being able to interact on all levels and be flexible with a willingness to travel across Grampian.
Candidates are required to hold the NEBDN qualification or equivalent SVQ level 3 and be registered with the General Dental Council. A full driving licence is required for this post. It is desirable that candidates hold an IV/RA sedation post registration qualification. If you do not hold this qualification the successful candidate will be required to undertake this qualification as soon possible in this post and full training and support will be given.
