This long-term role offers hands-on experience in a school setting, working closely with students to support their emotional and mental health development.
Responsibilities
Provide individual and group support to students with emotional, social, and behavioural challenges.
Develop and implement personalised intervention plans.
Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.
Conduct assessments to identify students' needs and track their progress.
Foster mental health awareness and positive well-being across the school.
Requirements
A degree in Psychology or related field (or working towards one).
Passion for working with children in an educational setting.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential.
Please note that this role requires a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection. Successful applicants must pass all background checks, including an enhanced DBS on the update service.
