The post holder will support the Dispensary Manager in the provision of all operational aspects of the dispensary service at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and will deputise as necessary in the management of the service.Aside from facilitating the rapid discharge of patients from hospital and to ensure that Pharmacy and the Trust meets its objectives with regards to TTA turnaround times; the post holder will also be responsible for facilitating workflow for in-patients, out-patients and controlled drug dispensing. This post holder will ensure that all dispensary staff work to a high standard in providing quality pharmacy services to patients and other Healthcare workers using the dispensary service at King’s.To organise and manage the provision of all dispensary-based services, including inpatients, outpatients, and controlled drugs to agreed performance targets with guidance and support from the dispensary manager.
