We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Aspiring Psychologist to join an exceptional Primary School in Islington. This long-term role provides a unique opportunity to gain practical experience, support children's development, and work alongside experienced professionals.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group support for students' emotional, social, and behavioral needs.
- Assist in creating and implementing personalized intervention strategies.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to foster a positive environment.
- Conduct assessments to track students' needs and progress.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings for support planning.
- Promote mental health awareness and well-being in the school community.
Requirements
- Degree in Psychology or a related field (or working towards one).
- Passion for working with children in education.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Experience in a school or child-focused setting is desirable.
- Commitment to professional development.
