We have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Assistant to join our Pharmacy team at HMP YOI Drake Hall, a women's prison and young offender institution in Staffordshire
Hours
The site currently offers various shift patterns - 7:30am - 6pm (including some weekends)
Salary
This position is full time, youll receive an annual salary up to £27,195 per annum - depending on experience.

As a Pharmacy Assistant, your responsibilities will vary. You will
- Complete general dispensary duties and stock management
- Be working as an active member of the Pharmaceutical team to ensure delivery of the pharmaceutical service
- Provide a timely and efficient service to the prison wings
- Receive prescriptions and stick returns from wing based clinical areas
- Collect orders from suppliers from the Main Gate and arrange collection of return
- Participate in dispensing of prescriptions.
