At NHSBT, our IT systems provide the critical controls that ensure the Blood products we manufacture are safe to release to patients this role will engage you in ensuring that as we develop and transform these systems, that these safety controls are embedded and enhanced.
The work of NHS Blood and Transplant (NHSBT) is vital to every member of our population, our work impacts on almost everyone at some point in their lives. It is therefore critical that we are equipped to handle whatever challenges we are faced with in the future, and our Blood Supply and Blood Technology colleagues are at the heart of this work. Working within small teams to deliver the incremental improvements that the C# conversion to our core system require will ensure we are able to continue to deliver this service while re-platforming to more current technology.
You will be required to travel and spend time away from base, which will involve working irregular hours when required, with prior notice. This is likely to be on a monthly basis.
Responsible for ensuring the safe and effective delivery of technology product change into the live service environment by providing critical specialist knowledge of the technology within their product domain to support the entire software delivery lifecycle (requirements, design, development & testing).
