The Estates Hard FM Team is responsible for the day to day repairs, PPM and operational testing for a wide range of building services and equipment located in the Trust.
We are looking to recruit a highly motivated and flexible Fire, Health and Safety Advisor to act as a focus for all fire, health and safety matters in the organisation with accountability for fire safety matters reporting up to the Site Director of Estates and Facilities Management (Director with fire safety responsibility.
You will be a positive team member with a can-do with the provision of competent advice, assist (and where required to the Group Fire Safety) in providing and maintaining levels of fire precaution within Trust premises in line with NHS Health Technical Memorandum 05:HTM05:requirements, and maintaining good relationships with the Local Fire Brigade.
As the competent person for fire, you will ensure that that the Trust complies with all aspects of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 (RRO) legislation and will work closely with all relevant parties within the hospital and externally to ensure the provision of a fire safe environment for patients/staff/visitors and to facilitate sustained care and well-being in relation to fire safety.
Furthermore, as the Fire, Health and Safety Advisor, you will act as the direct contact with the London Fire Brigade LFB, in relation to fire safety matters and information for the benefit of operational firefighting.
