An exciting opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic Therapy Assistant Practitioner to join the stroke therapy service at Peterborough City Hospital. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who really wants to make a difference and develop their knowledge and skills within stroke rehabilitation.
Our stroke therapy team is made of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and support workers who assess and treat people in the hyperacute and acute stroke units at Peterborough Hospital and in stroke rehabilitation beds at Hinchingbrooke Hospital. The post is mainly at Peterborough City Hospital however flexibility will be required to provide cross-site cover. This is a fast pace and exciting role working to support stroke survivors who present with a wide range of needs following their stroke. Regular supervision and development opportunities will be provided.
Weekend working will be required. There will be a practical element to the interview so candidates will need to be available to attend for interview at Peterborough City Hospital. This role is part time but there may be opportunities for this to increase to full time. Previous candidates need not apply.
