Plan, develop and evaluate methods and processes for gathering, analysing, interpreting and presenting data and information.

  • To support the delivery of day to day activities, projects and programmes
  • To support the team in the delivery of project plans, allocating tasks as appropriate, identifying risks, issues and dependencies, considering best practice and current options and ultimately making decisions in the best interest of the project.
  • Drafting detailed reports summarising status on issues, appraising outcomes, and providing progress reports for the Head of Department
  • Responsible for proposing and drafting changes, implementation and interpretation to policies, guidelines and service level agreements (SLAs) which may impact service.
  • Plan, develop and evaluate methods and processes for gathering, analysing, interpreting and presenting data and information
  • Contribute to the strategic planning of team projects, identifying interdependencies across projects/functions, potential impacts on the wider organisation, resource requirements and building in contingency and adjustments as necessary.

We are seeking a postholder who will be able to work flexibly and lead across a number of our innovation programme workstreams and award competitions.

This role is designed to build a combination of subject matter expertise, programme management and technical skills to maximise the impact of the different award programmes.

We wish to invite a broad range of applications that have transferable skills and an enthusiasm to learn new content and develop as a team.

The innovation and real-world evidence (RWE) team are responsible for supporting innovation adoption through the innovation eco-system; from developing the best conditions for success, to leading the commissioning of our delivery partners they support the roll out of at scale transformative new treatments and technologies to patients while also helping the health system and staff to support innovations more generally

  • Appointing and coordinating the independent evaluation teams selected to evaluate specific funded technologies
  • Reviewing research questions raised by evaluation teams and external NICE reviews
  • Developing and improving best-practice AI evaluation guidance
  • Receiving and considering proposed evaluation design approaches, including reviewing chosen methods to address the research questions
  • Liaising with relevant oversight and approval bodies regarding appropriateness of the methods
  • Receiving and reviewing the evaluation reports from the evaluation teams
  • Determining where it is appropriate to draw upon the support of the expert advisory group, and where peer review of outputs is best required
  • Develop recommendations and reports to the relevant advisory groups, for onward referral to relevant oversight and approval bodies
