Service Development

Rehabilitation services in Enfield have been undergoing a continuous improvement cycle which is strongly supported by health and social care commissioners. Over the past five years this has resulted in development of a rehabilitation board and step-down pathway in the community.

The post holder would be encouraged to further develop this relationship as part of ongoing community transformation in which it is proposed that the rehab services will work very closely with voluntary care sector (VCS) to scale up rehabilitation interventions with VCS staff. Another project is to improve the referral pathway and engage in case finding to identify those who would benefit most from rehabilitation as recommended by NICE guidance.

There is an exciting opportunity within the North London Mental Health Partnership (NLMHP) for a General Adult Consultant Psychiatrist to join the Community Services in Enfield. The role offered is that of a Consultant in Community Rehabilitation covering the Community Rehabilitation Team in the London Borough of Enfield.
