As a Senior Nurse you will lead a multi-disciplinary team to deliver a nurse led service and prevent hospital admissions. You will undertake medication rounds, dispense controlled medication, attend emergency response situations, assess patients, and undertake reception screening.
You will contribute to our nursing strategy and vision to;
Provide
outstanding evidence based care to our patients, seeking out, listening to and acting on their feedback, so that care is personalised and informed by what matters to them.
Deliver
non-judgemental care that makes a real difference, as defined throughout our bespoke Health in Justice competency framework.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Primary Care Nurse to join our Primary Care team at HMP Thameside, a category B Prison located in Greenwich, South-East London.
In this role you'll be working with a multi-disciplinary team that will support you and help you succeed.
The site currently offers a 24-hour service and shift patterns.
Long days: 07:00 19:30
Mains: 08:30 17:00
Twilight: 14:00 22:00
Nights: 19:00 07:30
There is an expectation to undertake a combination of shift, including weekends and bank holidays.
This position is full time, youll receive an annual salary up to £50,400
per annum - depending on experience.

- Support the registered nurses in implementing an agreed plan of care in association with the patient and in accordance with instructions and training received
- Promote safe patient care
- Develop and apply new skills to maintain and enhance clinical service delivery
