We are seeking a Specialist Dietician to join our Dietetics service providing a comprehensive specialist clinical service to adult patients referred for nutrition and dietetic management within the High Weald Lewes and Haven area. The team is supported by two clinical team leads, a health care assistant and administrative staff.

The post holder will independently manage and treat general community patients with a range of conditions, including those with chronic and gastroenterology conditions. The post holder may also take on a small caseload of young adults aged 16-18. Work will be clinic based, home visits and within care homes with opportunities for flexible and virtual working.

  • To take accountability for allocated assessments, planning and implementation of care packages/programmes of support, within their caseload
  • To provide training and education in the area of nutrition support to community service providers within the High Weald Lewes and Havens, including training in MUST screening.
  • Training, supervision and mentoring of student dieticians during their clinical placements.
