We are seeking a Specialist Dietician to join our Dietetics service providing a comprehensive specialist clinical service to adult patients referred for nutrition and dietetic management within the High Weald Lewes and Haven area. The team is supported by two clinical team leads, a health care assistant and administrative staff.
The post holder will independently manage and treat general community patients with a range of conditions, including those with chronic and gastroenterology conditions. The post holder may also take on a small caseload of young adults aged 16-18. Work will be clinic based, home visits and within care homes with opportunities for flexible and virtual working.

To take accountability for allocated assessments, planning and implementation of care packages/programmes of support, within their caseload
To provide training and education in the area of nutrition support to community service providers within the High Weald Lewes and Havens, including training in MUST screening.
Training, supervision and mentoring of student dieticians during their clinical placements.
