We are looking for a confident
Support Team Leader
with a passion for delivering outstanding care.

Youll be working
32 hours a week,4 (8 hour day) shifts per week
, making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care at our
North West Supported Living Services

.


For this role you will need to drive, and have your own vehicle as you will be a Team Leader at all of our services including: Boden Street, Warrington Road,Townfield Avenue,Kingsway South andRydal Avenue

Your day-to-day

  • Supporting the regional manager, management team and team members in the day-to-day running of the service
  • Responsible for supervising a team of senior support workers which is currently x3 full time
  • Ensure duties are allocated effectively and safely
  • Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all the people in our care
  • Provide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support
  • Learn about individuals specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way
  • Support with an on call rota for out of hours support
  • Assist with medical & welfare needs and report as required
  • Safeguard
  • Maintain a safe & clean environment for all

You are

  • Genuinely driven with a desire to make a real difference in peoples lives
  • Experienced in chairing meetings with professionals and teams
  • Confident and competent in leading the service in the absence of Regional Manager
  • Experience in leading or being part of CQC or Ofsted inspections
  • Level 3 or above qualified in a leadership qualification in Social Care
  • An excellent communicator & a good team player
  • Sensitive & intuitive with the energy required to provide a trusting, stimulating & varied environment
  • Passionate about empowering & supporting service user independence

Successful candidates will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
