Job Details
- Role: Care Assistant
- Shift Patterns: 08:00-14:00, 14:00-20:00, 08:00-20:00, 20:00-08:00
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Pay Rate: £11.44 - £11.74 (depending on NVQ Level 2 or 3)
- Type: Permanent contract
- Assist residents in maintaining independence and activity.
- Provide personal care and assist during mealtimes.
- Develop and implement personalised care plans based on residents' unique goals.
- Encourage residents to participate in new interests and physical activities.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of UK care experience.
- Ideally have a DBS registered on the update service.
- A valid driving licence is required due to the care home's location.
- Good proficiency in written and spoken English.
Benefits
- Overtime paid at time and a half.
- Double time for work on Christmas and New Year.
- £30 petrol allowance.
- Blue Light Card provided.
- 5.6 weeks of annual leave, increasing to 6 weeks with tenure.

- The role requires occasional flexibility for night shifts.
- No sponsorship opportunities are available; valid right to work in the UK is required.
