The position of
Guest Service Manager
has become available at Aloft Aberdeen TECA. Reporting into the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for Guest Service, Reception, Food and Beverage, and all aspects of running day to day operations. The successful applicant for this role will have vast experience in similar role and deliver excellent customer service, have a positive ‘can do' attitude, be willing to learn and show that they care and be flexible to work both night and day shifts.
What Are We Looking For?
We're Looking For An Individual Who Is
- An experienced Guest Services Manager who has worked in a similar sized property and will thrive on supporting the running of this very successful hotel.
- Aloft is an events hotel, right next to the biggest events complex in Scotland, P&J Live, so you will ideally have experience working with volumes but more than that you will enjoy being busy and are a great team player!
- Someone who is keen to learn and enjoys a variety of work environments
- Promote and develop loyalty for our hotel guests by reacting positively to their needs and providing an excellent level of personalised guest service.
- A champ in conflict management and problem resolution.
- Good knowledge of IT systems, Reception systems, trained and experienced in Health and safety and Crisis Management.
- If you worked with Opera system before or if you are a former Marriott employee, you get brownie points!
- Great Leader, that is not afraid to jump in and resolve issues between team members!
- A great motivator with amazing personality that thrives in hospitality and is looking for a change or simply to take on a new adventure!
- You will be happy with working variety of shifts ( weekends/nights ) and working without supervision.

You will be a part of the team in, 150-bedroom Aloft Hotel on the site of the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference. Designed by architects Cooper Cromar, with interiors by Twenty2Degrees, this is the only Aloft Hotel of its kind in Scotland and will feature a WXYZ bar, RE:MIX lounge and gym.
