We are looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to provide a highstandard of Podiatric Service to Patients within Powys Teaching Health Board (PTHB) and promote clinical excellence across the county. The post holder will have a close working relationship with the Specialist Podiatrist and other Community services in the County to promote a seamless patient journey.

We will provide the successful applicant with a named mentor and a structured mentoring program.

The successful candidate will need to be an autonomous practitioner and have the enthusiasm to progress with support from senior staff in your role as a podiatrist. You will need to demonstrate good communication and organisational skills and work well as part of a team and be expected to take an active part in continuous clinical and service improvement. The post holder will benefit and contribute to a robust supervision model in place which has a strong emphasis on shared learning across services.

You will also supervise podiatry assistants and students, promoting evidence-based practice and supporting decision making. The post holder will need to be a keen team member with a flexible approach to workand have effective communication skills to assist with managing change.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
